Homemade Biscuits

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/4 cups flour

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 1 tbsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 5 tbsp butter 

  • 1 cup milk

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.

  2. Whisk together dry ingredients.

  3. Cut in butter until it is the size of small peas.

  4. Mix in milk, then turn out on a floured surface and knead 15x.

  5. Roll out to a 1/4-1/2 inch then fold over and cut biscuits out.

  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown, then brush with melted butter.
