Ground Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients:

  • 2lbs ground beef

  • 1 onion

  • 1/3rd cup flour

  • 1 quart beef broth (bone broth is a fave!)

  • 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • Salt and pepper

Instructions:

  1. Brown the beef and sautée the onion together on medium high heat.

  2. Soak up the grease with the flour, then add your beef broth. Bring to a simmer and let thicken.

  3. Add your worcestershire sauce salt and pepper, then turn off the heat.

  4. After about 5 minutes, add the sour cream and stir well to combine. Serve over pasta or rice! We love homemade egg noodles or spaetzle!

You may not consider this stroganoff as there are no mushrooms. We do not like mushrooms at all, but of course add them if you’d like! I usually substitute carrots.
