Nora Tea

You've probably heard of red raspberry leaf tea, but what about NORA? NORA is a blend of nettle, oatstraw, red raspberry leaf and alfalfa and it is a pregnancy POWERHOUSE. This is an awesome tea blend to be drinking during your 3rd trimester, and many midwives recommend starting it around 16 weeks. But what are the benefits?

Nettle - packed with vitamins and minerals including vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin K, potassium, iron, & magnesium!

Oatstraw - reduces anxiety and stress, protects your nervous system, reduces blood pressure and balances hormones. This can actually help with reducing hemorrhoids and varicose veins!

Red Raspberry Leaf - tones and strengthens the uterus, promotes respiratory and digestive health and is known to shorten the length of labor!

Alfalfa - contains iron, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, sulfur, chlorine, sodium, potassium, silicon, trace elements,  vitamin E, vitamin C, vitamin K, and essential amino acids. It contains the highest chlorophyll content compared to any plant!

All together, NORA tea can: super charge your immune system, decrease feelings of stress, lower blood pressure, potentially shorten your length of labor, alleviate hemorrhoids & varicosities, prevent premature rupture of the membranes (PROM), reduce your risk of the use of caesarean section, forceps, or vacuum birth, and reduce blood loss at birth.

Postpartum, it's excellent for nurturing your body during recovery, replenishing blood stores and providing needed electrolytes and minerals! I started drinking 1-2 cups per day around 18 weeks and moved up to a quart per day at 36 weeks.

Where to buy: I purchase the herbs individually from @mountainroseherbs and make my own blend. This is by far the most cost effective! It is hard to find as a blend but I have one linked in my Amazon storefront.
